Program Design Overview

In this section, we will look at some of the Program functionality in Kinaki.

In Kinaki, a Program is an overarching entity for many Projects within your organization. You attach existing Projects to a Program, in order to measure results across multiple Projects.

Some important information to start:

If you are an Organization Admin you will be able to create a Program in Kinaki and you will become the “Program Admin” of that Program. You can then add other users to that Program as either Admins or Members. (Program Members can view Program Reports.)

If you are a Project Admin or Project Member, you may wish to request that the Organization Admin invite you to the Program so you can explore these features.

When creating a Program, you can choose to include different Projects from your organization. Projects that are included in a Program should have similar indicators or project details (information you’ve added into your Projects’ settings) that you are interested in aggregating.

To create a Program in Kinaki, you should have already set up at least two Projects that have data and indicators. The reason for this is that when you create a Program you will be matching indicators from these Projects in order to aggregate data to see at the Program level.

Next, let’s look at how to create a Program!
